In the recent report from The Wine Advocate, entitled “Argentina 2018: Back to the Future,” the influential US magazine created by Robert Parker in 1979 granted outstanding scores for the wines from Bodega Doña Paula. Luis Gutiérrez, who is responsible for reporting on Argentine wines for the publication, visited Argentina a few months ago, traveled through the different wine regions, and tasted more than 1,280 wines for this edition.

Bodega Doña Paula’s award-winning wines come from the winery’s own vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley and were made by the winemaking team led by Marcos Fernández and Martín Kaiser with the objective of obtaining high-quality wines that are faithful representatives of the country’s terroirs.

Luis Gutiérrez granted 93 points to the 2014 Doña Paula Los Indios Parcel Malbec and 92 points to both the 2015 Doña Paula Selección de Bodega from Finca Alluvia and the 2016 Doña Paula 1350.
In the high-altitude blend line, the new 2017 Doña Paula 969 earned 91 points, and the 2016 Doña Paula 1100 received 90 points.

In successful Estate line, the 2016 Blue Edition, the 2016 Black Edition, and the 2017 Sauvignon Blanc all received 90 points.
