Doña Paula 1350: a new blend from Gualtallary
This new wine is a blend of the best varieties from our Alluvia Vineyard, located in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, at 1,350 meters (4,430 feet) above sea level.
Made with Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Casavecchia, this is a complex and balanced wine of a deep violet color. The Cabernet Franc contributes very spicy and floral notes, whereas the Malbec gives the wine aromas of red fruit. In the mouth, it has a long and highly persistent finish due to its firm tannins. It is a very elegant and well-structured blend.
This recent launch has already been recognized with 91 points by both the prestigious Master of Wine Tim Atkin, and by Patricio Tapia in his ‘Descorchados’ wine guide.
