Doña Paula, an Argentine winery that produces Premium wines, announced the appointment of Mauricio Palacios as CEO of the company, which will be effective since January 1, 2023.
This new charge, which was made within the company, will report to a board of directors that will be made up of four members: the Chairman of Viña Santa Rita, Baltazar Sánchez; two of its directors, Pedro Ovalle and Andrés Navarro; and the CEO of Viña Santa Rita, Andrés Lavados.
As Agricultural engineer, Palacios currently works as Production Manager of Viña Santa Rita in Chile, a position he has held since 2019. Also, in the 15 years that he has been linked to the company, he has held different roles in both the Chilean and Argentine wineries, which have given him an experience that has allowed him to participate directly in the agricultural, business, logistics, administration and finance areas.
With this new work structure, we seek to reposition the winery, promoting a greater brand and company identity, and promoting its development and growth, both in Argentina and in the more than 40 export markets in which the company is present.
Regarding his appointment, Palacios highlighted: “It is a tremendous pride and a great challenge to assume this new position with the aim of taking Doña Paula to the next level, consolidating ourselves as one of the most important and relevant wineries in Argentina. We will continue to promote the production of Premium wines with the excellence that characterizes our products; developing initiatives that allow us to generate new instances to connect and captivate consumers; and continue promoting the image of Doña Paula in Argentina and the world”.
Established in 1997 in Mendoza, Doña Paula has 100% of its own vineyards for the production of all its wines. These are planted in the best areas of the country, looking for the most faithful expression of each terroir.
