In September, Marcos Fernández, Doña Paula’s principal winemaker, attended the “Los Grandes Vinos de los Andes USA 2016” fair, organized by James Sucking, which took place September 26th in Miami, the 28th of september in New York and september 30th in Beverly Hills. There were products of more than 50 of the best Argentine and Chilean wineries that showcased their best wines, all selected and qualified by the internationally acclaimed wine critic with 90 points or more.

Each event consisted of a tasting of these wines with a delicious selection of cheese, charcutiere and empanadas, where one could enjoy the warm atmosphere with the music of the award winning artist Surhan Sidhu, former member of the Empire of the Sun. The event was attended by wine buyers, writers and upper-class consumers.

James Suckling personally thanked Marcos Fernandez for being one of the few winemakers who was present in all three cities.

Consumers were fascinated with the wines presented by Doña Paula: Doña Paula Black Edition 2015 and Doña Paula 2012 Wine Selection. While the buyers and writers were tasting the wines, Marcos explained the characteristics of each personally.
