Doña Paula Los Indios Parcel 2018, of the high-end wines of the winery, obtained 95 points. This wine comes from a selection of plots from the Los Indios Estate, located in El Cepillo, San Carlos, Uco Valley, at 1.150 meters above sea level. In addition, Doña Paula Alluvia Parcel Malbec 2018 and Selección de Bodega Malbec 2018, the icon wine of Doña Paula elaborated with grapes from the Alluvia Estate, of mineral and stony soils, achieved 94 points.

On the other hand, the innovative Altitude Series range received 93 points for Doña Paula 1350 vintage 2019, while 92 points were awarded for Doña Paula 1100 vintage 2019. Also, the 2020 vintage of Doña Paula 969 received 91 points.

The Doña Paula Estate line obtained high scores: Doña Paula Estate Black Edition 2019, madre from Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Petit Verdot, and Doña Paula Estate Malbec 2019, based in Malbec with a touch of Pinot Noir and Bonarda, received 91 points.

For Atkin, this year has been particular because of the Covid-19 context, meaning he could not visit the country and rather taste over 1,000 samples of wine in his hometown London.

The full reviews and comments on Doña Paula and the local wine scene will be published in the upcoming months in his Special Argentina Report.
